3. Formation of Committees

(1) A committee named Mental Hospital Development Committee has been formed.
(2) The committee under sub-section (1) shall have the following chairman and members:-

(a) a person nominated by the Government of Nepal as chairman
(b) One member nominated by the Government of Nepal from among eminent social workers (c) Representative (Gazetted First Class) Member
Ministry of Health (d) Chief District Officer or authorized staff appointed by him, District Administration Office Lalitpur Member
(e) Representative, District Development Committee, Lalitpur Member
(f) Two members nominated by the Government of Nepal on the recommendation of the committee from among the consultant physicians (g) Chairman, Lalitpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry Member
(h) President, Nepal Red Cross Society District Branch, Lalitpur Member
(j) Matron Member of the Hospital
(j) Director Member Secretary of Hospital
(3) The term of office of the members under clauses (a), (b) and (f) of sub-section 2 shall be two years.
(4) If the Government of Nepal deems it necessary, it may add or change the members of the committee by publishing a notice in the Nepal Gazette.
